Christie Lake Timber Frame Bunkie

The idea for the Timber Frame Bunkie came from wanting a cozy place to stay at the lake in winter. The frame will be cut off site by Hemlock Ridge Timber Frames, and then assembled using traditional joinery on site. High efficiency and airtight SIPs will enclose the frame, creating a snug, and easy to heat space. The heating and hot water will be electric, making it easy to remotely turn the heat on, so the bunkie will already be warm before the owners even get to the lake!
